  • Please observe this policy for your child’s sake and in consideration of the other
    children and our teachers.
  • Hand sanitizer and frequent hand washings will be a regular part of our day.

Behavior/Discipline Policy:
  • Social skills and positive behavior skills will be integrated into our program. We fully
expect typical 4- and 5-year-old behavior to include some negative behaviors. If your
child’s behavior seems atypical or causes major safety or disruption concerns,
Cameron and Tracy will meet privately with the family to discuss the issues and put
    necessary programs in place.
  • Occasional “time-outs” may be used as a discipline technique. The “time-out” will take
place in the room, but child will be restricted from the activity for 4-5 minutes. Positive
replacement behaviors will be discussed and encouraged.
  • If, after a mutually agreed upon period of intervention and focus, a child’s negative
behavior does not improve and continues to pose a safety concern to other children,
teachers and adults, or is a major disruption to classroom learning, the family may be
asked to remove the child from the program.

Conferences and Reports:
  • A conference can be scheduled with Cameron and Tracy any time throughout the year.
We will schedule an end-of-school-year conference with each family and provide you
with a kindergarten readiness report at that time.

Please initial and date on the registration form that you have read and understand these
policies and procedures. Thank you for your cooperation.
